RONGAI WORKSHOP & TRANSPORT LTD TRADEMARK POLICY

1.1
YOU MUST READ THESE URUGN TRADEMARKS POLICY (“TRADEMARKS”) CAREFULLY.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE URUGN
TRADEMARK POLICY IS TO ENCOURAGE WIDESPREAD USE OF THE URUGN TRADEMARKS BY URUGN CODE
SYSTEMS WHILE CONTROLLING THAT USE IN ORDER TO AVOID CONFUSION ON THE PART OF URUGN
CODE SYSTEMS AND ITS AFFILIATES (“URUGN”) ITS EMPLOYEES, USERS, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS
AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC, TO MAINTAIN THE VALUE OF THE IMAGE AND REPUTATION OF THE TRADEMARKS
AND TO PROTECT THEM FROM INAPPROPRIATE OR UNAUTHORIZED USE.

1.2
Trademarks are words or symbols (and less commonly colors, sounds or scents) used to
identify the source of products, technologies, programs and services, enabling customers
to distinguish one provider’s offerings from another’s. When we say “products” in these
guidelines, we mean all types of offerings, ranging from commercial products and services
to open source and free software and informational web sites. Trademark law protects the
public’s ability to rely on trademarks for information about product source and quality,
requiring trademark owners to take steps to police proper use of their marks We provide
these Rongai Workshop & Transport Ltd Trademark and Logo Usage Requirements
(“guidelines”) as part of a comprehensive program to satisfy this obligation, and to
help you and all of our community members make proper use of our marks consistent with
these guidelines and the law.

2.
PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY

2.1
This policy affects all trademarks of the Urugn and Urugn Code Systems,
including the names and logos used for its various projects, products
and services. Some of these trademarks have already been registered, but
please note that a registration is not necessary to own a trademark.

2.2
The goal of this policy is to ensure that the names and logos are used in
a way coherent to the goals of the Urugn and Urugn Code Systems. It needs
to be impossible, for example, for someone to release a product called
‘SokoMedia’ or ‘MPhonEaiC’ that consists of non-free content. On the other
hand we have to ensure that community members or partners don’t get into legal
problems when using the trademarks in our sense.

THE TRADEMARKS

3.1
Urugn owns a number of trademarks and these include URUGN®, MPhonEaiC, SokoMobile,
eBroker and eAdvocate. The trademarks are registered in both word and logo form.
Any mark ending or starting with the letters URUGN is sufficiently similar to one
or more of the trademarks that permission will be needed in order to use it. This
policy encompasses all marks, in word and logo form, collectively referred to as
Trademarks.

3.2
Any rights granted in this policy fall under an over-arching requirement that the
use of the trademarks has to be (a)non-confusing – people should always know who
they are dealing with. Websites and products which are not published by Urugn Code Systems
shouldn’t imply, either directly or by omission, that they are – and (b) non-disparaging –
you can’t use our trademarks to be rude about us (outside the bounds of fair use).
